dairyGood News for Milk DrinkersA recent study showed that milk was more effective at burning fat and gaining muscle when taken after weight training. The group that drank milk had some pretty impressive gains over the groups that drank comparable soy drinks and high carb energy drinks. I'd really be excited about this if one of the funders was not the US National Dairy Council. But no harm done. If milk is part you your low calorie - high nutrition eating plan, you may just have a little bonus coming if you drink after you work out. |
